hela Sverige As Financial Accounting Controller, you are joining Euroclear Sweden's Finance team in its efforts to continuously develop and improve finance processes. You will have the opportunity to work with a large number of different topics and process - from accounting, controlling and audit engagements - and will work daily with experts to help you develop your own skills and knowledge. This role is part of the Finance function, which also includes Supply Chain. You will report to the CFO who is based in Stockholm.
Your responsibilities include: Has responsibility for month's closing procedures, preparation of statutory reporting and ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and supports the Finance team in their day-to-day activities and projects
Contributes to the continuous improvement of Finance processes, systems, and ways of working, e.g., reporting, cash management, invoicing, etc
Works with Euroclear Sweden's different business areas and units, to e.g., follow up on costs and purchase orders, to support forecasting and budgeting, etc
Prepare financial reporting to various stakeholders, such as the cost center managers, the Executive Committee and financial regulator
Work together with colleagues in Euroclear Group, who provide accounting services, to ensure correctness of accounting in line with local standards and regulations
Acts as a local guardian for Finance processes, implements and monitors financial controls
Your profile:
To succeed in this role, we believe you work within accounting today or are just at the beginning of you controlling career.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, from finance and accounting, in closing and reporting processes. Experience from an audit firm is a plus.
Able to work independently in a structured and process-oriented manner
Attentive to detail and eager to learn
Demonstrates responsibility and ownership on assigned tasks and work areas
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferably experienced with tools such as Oracle EBS
Fluent in Swedish and English, with strong communication skills both written and verbally.
We offer an exciting position in a global company with a competitive compensation package and flexible work arrangement. We are centrally located in the Waterfront Building, next to the Central station in Stockholm. The position is a permanent employment with applied probationary employment.
