Ã…F has more than 1 400 engineers working in the international automotive industry. We have extensive experience in executing on-site as well as outsourced assignments and is running 10 automotive customer satellites. Our customers are mainly in Sweden, Brazil, UK, and China where we also have subsidiaries and offices.
We need to enhance the CAE & Safety team with a newly graduated engineer, with an interest of working with Feasibility and Process engineering in Stamping. Our team is involved in the CAE analysis of the car and its sheet body components from early stage until start of production.
As a stamping Feasibility & process engineer, you and the team will be responsible for running and delivery of simulations in Autoform or similar FEM software and to make engineering judgments that the parts are feasible. You will work close together with the R&D Department to improve products according to process requirements. In the next step the feasibility result and process will be handed over to the Tooling Supplier to be implemented.
Who are you?
• MSc or BSc in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge in: CAD (Catia v5, NX, Solid Works…)
• FEM software (Autoform, LS-DYNA…)
• Sheet metal forming process
• Die Design
• Geometry (Tolerancing)
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• To be successful in this role, you should be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with people both internally and externally.
You have strong analytical capability and use logic and methods to solve problems in an efficient manner, with the customer needs in mind. You have a desire to develop technical and personal skills with high level of motivation and a positive attitude.
