For E.ON's IT organization, this requires the right technical and organizational foundation to meet both long-term and short-term business goals. We are searching for a leader for our Transformation, Strategy and architecture team who will play a vital part in our ongoing transformative programs.
About the team
The purpose of the Transformation, Strategy and Architecture team is to set the agenda for change/transformation within IT and to ensure we are futureproof by architecture driven IT-change with focus on business and customer needs.
The team is relatively new and as a manager you will continue to develop the team and its functions. The existing roles in the team are Transformation managers, Enterprise Architects and Domain Architects and consists of 8 people.
Key responsibilities for you as a manager:
In your role as manager, you will be our leader of the team, in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations. You are supporting and developing the team members while also developing the relationships with key stakeholders within our organisation.
You play an active role in ensuring a proactive approach in operations and development and provide vision and guidance on strategic direction to our department in close collaboration with business and colleagues within our Nordic IT team as well as E.ONs global IT-team.
You report to Head of Business IT Customer Solutions, and you will be part of the IT management team where we ensure delivery and performance of our services, develop our organisation, learn and develop one another whilst simultaneously having an honest impact on E.ONs possibility to reach our vision - a more sustainable and renewable energy system.
About you
We are looking for a leader who are as passionate about people as you are about technology. As our IT environment is complex, we are looking for you with a background from a larger organisation with a complex technological landscape. We believe that you have an academical degree within e.g., computer science, information systems or a related field and good knowledge of IT transformation and architecture.
You have a strong strategic mindset balanced with the ability to run day to day operations. You share our belief that people is what makes us a strong team. As a leader you are a skilled communicator and take business-oriented decisions. You have a good understanding of the importance of building relationships upon trust, can lead through others and wants to develop a diverse team with different personalities, skills and experiences. It is vital in this position to drive towards results and make sure the decisions are put into action.
