hela Sverige Resolution Games is a VR/AR studio focused on creating immersive experiences for all - from gamers to non-gamers alike. We are now looking for an Events Manager that will help us both manage and plan our presence at different events. Are you someone with experience in managing events? Are you also extremely organized and familiar with working with many deadlines as well as a lot of different stakeholders? Then this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
About the role
As an Events Manager you will work with a variety of events including consumer, trade, and employer branding events as well as tournaments. You will play a key part in promoting and growing the brand (across company and games) together with the wider marketing team within a fast paced and dynamic environment. This is a role where you also have to collaborate with other departments across the business to deliver events to the highest standard. It will be very important in this role that you are able to build strong relationships with stakeholders, sponsors and suppliers since this will be crucial to ensure the event's success.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Event Management experience to manage their own portfolio of events while also getting to work with an award winning marketing team.
What you'll do:
• Secure exhibition show space, source venues and negotiate event packages
• Brief design elements (promotional assets, stand artwork etc) to in-house design team and external suppliers
• Organize staffing requirements for events, oversee set ups, break downs and manage onsite requirements during live events
• Project manage event requirements across relevant departments, communicate and track event deliverables
• Manage the overall procurement process for events
• Manage individual budget for owned events and help drive measurable impact on ROI
• Maintain brand identity across owned events while keeping up-to-date with company brand guidelines
• Manage IT requirements for full event portfolio (including point of sale software and equipment and IT requirements to demo our games)
• Ensure on-site success and necessary troubleshooting for positive attendee experience
• End-to-end production of game user conference and showcase events
• Post event evaluation, gathering and using data to measure impact and deliver improvements
• Effectively promote and inform on events activities both internally and externally

• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the event is publicized and attendees are encouraged to attend our booth/tournament/etc.
Requirements:
• Passion for games and new technologies
• Experience in end-to-end delivery and management of events
• Experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and adapt to short timeframes where necessary
• Ability to travel internationally when required

• Excellent command of written and spoken English
Nice to have:
• Experience working with demos
• Copywriting and creative graphic design
• Experience with VR and AR headsets and content
• Knowledge in broadcasting and show production

Location: This position is open to applicants able to work on-site either in the USA or Stockholm, Sweden.
