This is a full-time position, based in our Global Headquarters office in Stockholm/Stadshagen where we are 60+ nationalities under the same roof and we're quite happy with the look and feel of the office! You should expect travelling mainly across Europe for approx. 5% of the time when Covid restrictions are lifted

Our ambition is to grow the existing profitable consumables and accessories business into a larger business, which will provide a significant contribution to the operating margins and will contribute to improve the 360 Consumer's experience.
The Category Director Floor Care owns the Category business results and drives the Category strategy, its deployment and follow up on the commercial execution.
The Wellbeing Category Director ensures timely creation of innovative ranges & experiences collaborating closely in the Global Floor Care Category squad(s) to ensure the experience development of the BA generation plans.
The role also runs the business in the Commercial Triangle, as well as manages the life cycle for the Category to increase sales, earning, positive consumer reviews and value market share.
In addition to this, the role is responsible for driving a consumer centric business model in the BA, involving areas of e-commerce & accessories and repair & service as part of the complete consumer value proposition.
A regular day at work
• P&L responsibility for the Floor Care Category.
• Develop and own the Category strategic plan as part of the overall PL Strategic Plan.
• Collaborating in the global category squad(s) to ensure product & experience development pipeline (cycle plan, generation plan, connectivity) for relevant and timely launch execution
• Collaboration in the global category squad(s) to ensure execution on a globally aligned BA generation plan based on consumer insights and strategy for the category.
• Actively contribute to the creation of BA relevant compelling experience value propositions and support new product development in the Global category Squad(s).
• Responsible for the Category model catalogue, including unique selling propositions, together with product marketing and key markets.
• Responsible for the range definition and price positioning, including target launch price and floor price definition.
• Responsible for the commercial launch and execution of category products life cycle together with experience category marketing and key markets.
• Responsible for product allocation to markets and approve any deviation to changes to generation plan / model catalogue.
• Track and follow consumer trends together with the product line in the markets and bring insights into the category squad(s) for relevant planning
• The Category Director has team management responsibilities for the Category Managers and their teams of Product and Range managers.

You will have a wide exposure within the organization with many cross-functional contacts, centrally as well as local Product Line and Sales counterparts in Europe.
Qualifications:
• Solid experience (minimum 10 years) in marketing and/or commercial areas and/or product development. Ideally in more than one function.
• P&L Management experience on a regional level is desirable.
• Strong experience in setting business strategy and project management.
• Team management experience, having managed regionally spread virtual teams
• Academic degree in business and/or technical field.
