We have market coverage through our own direct mainliner and our own feeders covering key ports in Sweden, and our extensive network is further enhanced by close collaboration with commercial feeder operators, rail and truck operators.MSC Sweden continues to grow market share in Sweden each year, and we are now looking for a professional Equipment planner to join us in delivering operational excellence to our customers.Job descriptionThe Equipment Planner is part of our Logistics team in the Operations Department where all MSC own assets and 3rd party services are managed. The department handles the full transportation cycle for volumes to, from and within Sweden, and thus it requires that our staff works closely together in the department and with our suppliers to ensure we deliver superior service to our customers.The Equipment Planner is responsible for the daily management of all equipment related activities in Sweden. This includes monitoring of depots and stock levels to ensure the booking demand is covered and that equipment flows are being balanced through positioning and evacuation at lowest cost. Through close collaboration and strong communication with our commercial teams the Equipment Planner ensures that customers receive units in appropriate condition for shipment, where also equipment maintenance and repair is a vital part of the position. As a key player in a dynamic industry the Equipment Planner promotes successful communication, collaboration and proactive learning with both colleagues and customers.Ideal candidate attributesThe ideal candidate holds a good understanding of logistics and can work in a complex environment. The candidate is comfortable under pressure, resourceful and holds effective verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in English and Swedish (speaking, reading, writing)Advanced knowledge in MS Office PackagesThe ability to identify innovative approaches to problem solvingThe ability to initiate, drive and follow-up on daily responsibilitiesAble to travel when needed (10%)Able to work within multiple systems and data sources - consolidating, validating, analyzing and interpreting data for business needs.Additional informationThe position as Equipment Planner is full time with a generous benefit package.If you have any questions regarding this position, you are more than welcome to contact Logistics Manager, Nicklas Fredriksson
