You also hold extensive knowledge and experience from leading both people and business at a senior level in large scale organisations and multinational environments. Furthermore, we will most likely see an unapologetic history of driving innovation and finding new solutions and new programs, which have led to tangible results. You also master the fine touch of knowing how to strike the right balance between speed/flexibility and process/compliance in a smooth, but direct way. The ability to influence without authority comes all natural to you.
Your significant expertise in culture differences will provide you with a solid base when it comes to decision making, network and listen in interdependent environments, and also assist you in taking a clear standpoint without unnecessary delay. Creating trust and implementing long-term Diversity and Inclusion is essential. We would love to see that you are fluent in using your strong consultation and facilitation talent with both internal and external stakeholders.

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
This is a key role supporting the advancement of IKEA vision and impact by delivering on an agenda to value Equality, diversity and embrace inclusion.

The Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Leader will be responsible for contributing to the continuous development of our Equality plan and implementing this through partnerships within and outside the organisation. Serve as a role model and an ambassador to the IKEA culture within and outside IKEA.
• Provide subject matter expertise on E,D&I best practices, both external and internal.
• Identify external trends, researching and recognising best practice
• Review Ingka Group policies and procedures, ensuring that these are all inclusive
• Partner with Communications to regularly communicate internal and external diversity and inclusion initiatives, events and progress
• Assist in the development and facilitation of E,D&I seminars, workshops and trainings for all co-workers
• Inspire, develop and support different Diversity & Inclusion networks and forums within INGKA Group.
• Secure and monitor that all markets are in line with the mandatory elements of Diversity and Inclusion to secure compliance with local regulations and a consistent execution of the Diversity & Inclusion agenda and policies.
• Initiate internal organisational wide regular communication on the INGKA Diversity & Inclusion program, aimed at timely providing HR stakeholders with critical information.
• Align with key stakeholders within People Culture and other functions, such as Sustainability, Communication, Legal, Risk Management and Business Navigation & Finance.
• Promote and update the "IKEA Code of Conduct.
