hela Sverige At Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) and our Global EHS Data team, we're looking for an Environmental Data and Reporting Specialist to join us in a brand-new role. Someone who's passionate about networking and eager to develop and learn with us.
We prioritize Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) in everything we do, and actively and consciously work to create a culture where these elements come first, regardless of the circumstances. Welcome to our exciting world!
About your job
In this position, you capture accurate and timely environmental data, providing agile support to internal stakeholders. Your duties vary as we work in a diverse environment, and we progress through different stages to meet our commitments and goals. This includes focusing on specific data records and discussing long-term strategies and targets. By working with stakeholders, you report on progress, identify obstacles, and develop plans and actions for both short- and long-term improvements. Furthermore, you assist in the development of reporting, analyses, and information presentations.
You collaborate closely with environmental and sustainability managers within SMR, as well as relevant people and functions on Sandvik Group level. As Sandvik's commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative is connected to your work, you take part in the development of both targets and ways of improving environmental performance.
You develop and implement our processes regarding environmental data - including capturing and analysis of:
Quarterly environmental input data, including follow up and correction.
Environmental Improvement Projects (EIP's) and Environmental Contributions.
Projected savings versus actual savings.
Environmental Hazard Management process and data.
Environmental Incident Management process and data.
The preferred location for this position is Finland or Sweden, while other Sandvik sites globally could be considered an option. We apply a hybrid work set-up where you can combine office and remote work.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge gained from previous work. Good basic knowledge in the environmental area and experience of industry operations are a big plus. Since we act on a global scene you have excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
Your personality makes a difference and with a great ability to communicate, you enjoy interacting with people in a global setting. You pay attention to details while sharing a strategic approach and work well both individually and in teams. You're truly flexible and resilient, meaning you easily bounce back when facing setbacks and staying focused in challenging times - also approaching challenges with curiosity and excitement.
Our culture
Our role is clear - through every action, every day, we make the shift and advance the world through engineering. We believe in an inclusive, equal and open-minded culture, and we nurture our diversities to form a solid foundation for achieving great results. Add fair and rewarding benefits, as well as many different career options. Are you intrigued? Visit our website, LinkedIn or Facebook page to get to know us further.
