Role Summary
This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.

As an Environmental Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and enhancing the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System for TRATON AB. You will collaborate with environmental experts across TRATON brands and play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and driving unified environmental strategies.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Implement the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System for TRATON AB.
• Lead enhancements to the EMS to strengthen compliance and operational efficiency.
• Facilitate environmental working groups within the TRATON Group.
• Collect and manage regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assess and implement new environmental regulations across the group.
• Collaborate with brand environmental experts to develop unified strategies.
• Coordinate and consolidate environmental reporting from multiple legal entities within the group, acting as a key point of contact for these stakeholders.
Who You Are
You are a proactive and structured professional with a strong drive for environmental leadership. You thrive in a multicultural environment and are confident in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and cross-brand collaboration.
You bring with you:
• A university degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability Management, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience with Environmental Management Systems, ideally including practical work with ISO 14001 implementation and maintenance
• Senior-level strategic expertise in environmental management.
• Strong coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• High cultural awareness and excellent communication abilities..
• You are an excellent team player with strong collaboration skills, attentive to others' perspectives, and contribute positively to a supportive team spirit.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish or German is a plus.

Our global section Product Compliance TRATON Group is part of the domain Product Compliance and Homologation. We promote product compliance by enabling processes, tools, and content for TRATON Modular Systems and brand-specific solutions. Our mission is to safeguard stakeholder interests through harmonization and sustainable deliverables.
You will be part of a global and highly collaborative unit of approximately 17 members, working with standardization and management systems. The unit is primarily based in Södertälje, Sweden, and Munich, Germany. In this role, you will be located in Södertälje and report directly to the global unit manager, Karin Stempfhuber, based in Munich.
