Serendipity Growth is a venture creation / consulting firm within the Serendipity Innovations Group. We help SMEs grow in new markets, and support Startups with market introductions. We are currently establishing a Swedish Startup Accelerator and are looking for a junior resource with consulting and startup experience, who wants to work with Startups.
We are looking for an exceptionally talented and experienced individual, who is willing to give up the luxuries of a high paying job, to join a bootstrapped team. We offer a minimum remuneration package with the possibility of future opportunities within the organisation. You will be based at our office in Stockholm.
We offer a visible position within a growing and ambitious group. You will be exposed to a wide range of tasks related to recruiting new Startups to the program, and in it?s daily operations.
Main responsibilities
Your key responsibility will be to discover investment opportunities for the Accelerator program. Responsibilities in detail:
• Participate in the startup community and network with relevant startups.
• Generate key contacts and develop relationships to promote positive deal flow.
• Identify business opportunities in order to develop the relationships and partnerships in the Swedish region, either through existing contacts or by developing new partners.
• Coordinate internal projects and activities.
• Report daily on the progress to the Partners
Required skills
• You have at least a Masters Degree within either finance or technology
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years as a
Management Consultant and 1 years of Business Development.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, and have at least 1 year of startup experience, either from running your own startup, or consulting for multiple startups
• You have a large network within the Swedish startup scene
• You have an expert understanding of Incubators and or Accelerator programs
• You show excellent communication skills and a strong ability to build strong and long term relationships.
• You have strong international experience having either studied or worked abroad for at least 1 year
• You are fluent in English and in one of the Nordic languages (Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish or Danish).
• You are able to perform client presentations including pitch presentations to clients in teams or alone and are able to take initiatives.
