We have been entrusted with the care of 8,500 children and young people at approximately thirty pre-schools, schools and colleges across Sweden. We are now searching for an English speaking teacher for one of our Stockholm pre-schools, Vittra i Katrineberg. In our pre-school we take care of children between the ages of one and five years and our teachers speak both Swedish and English. Vittra i Katrineberg is located in Liljeholmen, close to the centre of Stockholm.
The person we are searching for:
• is a qualified pre-school teacher or Montessori teacher.
• has English as a mother tongue and can preferably speak and understand Swedish as well, if not then the accepted candidate must be willing to learn Swedish to an agreed level under an initial test period of employment.
• sees it as a challenge to work with the youngest children in the pre-school (1 to 3 years of age).
• has the ability to work from the children’s needs and prerequisite.
• is a genuine team player who actively partakes in regular educational discussions to develop and prepare the pre-school.
• has the ability to create a learning environment that stimulates curiosity and challenges the child to want to learn more.
