What it's in for you?
We are part of an agile product development organisation with SAFE as a way of working and in our Connected Experience.
The Audio Systems group within the Mech In and HW department is responsible for HW-, SW- and System development of all audio functionality in the cars. Apart from the sound systems (amplifier and speakers) the responsibility also includes systems like ANC (Active Noise Control), Microphones, Bluetooth Handsfree and Exterior Sound for Hybrid/Electrical vehicles. Project Management and Audio Tuning is also part of the group's responsibilities. Our daily work includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles. We use the latest technologies and advanced methods within the audio field and with the launch of the all new audio content in the new SPA platform, we are in the forefront of audio technology in cars

As a Lead Engineer r you will be part of a highly skilled agile team which has a good mix of nationality, gender, age and experience. Here you will have the opportunity to learn and develop for every sprint.

Do you fit the profile?
Within Audioa System team we are looking for professionals and enthusiastic Lead Engineer, who will drive project related iterms related to audio systems responsibility.
As a person, you are self-motivated to deliver on time, on target and with quality. You have very good communication skills and are a team player. Flexibility and a growth mindset are important qualities to possess.
You will drive overall project plans for specific components and software as well as suppliers to deliver on time and with quality. You are proactive and a part of the solution in technical matters. You will also synchronise HW, SW etc internally with the car programs and plants.
You would bring an University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. You would bring experience from working as a lead engineer at Volvo Cars as well as documented project management skills. You have the ability to take decisions and documented leadership skills. You bring experience and knowledge in Agile ways of working. You would be fluent in English, both verbally and written.
We see that you are a driven person, meritoious experience of working within background automotive and audio engineering.
