We are now looking for an Engineer Infotainment / Navigation
Description
The Infotainment Team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will part of a team of Engineers, with primary responsibility for the Infotainment Head Unit, Instrument Panel Cluster, Telematics & Connectivity
An Engineer primarily collaborates internally with other engineers and technical specialists and externally with suppliers and is involved in all phases of a car project.
The role as Engineer Infotainment / Navigation involves:
• Analyzing and follow up of the Satellite Navigation System performance from a user perspective
• Requirement feedback / update / optimization throughout the agile development process
• Responsibility to maintain and implement regional Navigation system requirements
• Supporting technical communication with suppliers through the complete product development lifecycle
• Identifying opportunities to improve products or processes
• Evaluating the feasibility of new proposals and requirement changes
• Supporting analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
• Providing input to best practice design solutions
We are looking for someone who has:
• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Driver license B
To be successful in this role, you need to:
• Be a team player with ability to plan and prioritize
• Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
• Have Good Communication skills
• Strong interest in the area of Automotive, Navigation, Connectivity, Human-Machine Interface, Internet of Things (IoT)
• Adaptability in the interaction with different persons, groups and culture.
