We are now looking for an Engineer CAE Structure Chassis!
Description
Position located within the Steering & Suspension Systems team, which is part of the unit Chassis Propulsion Thermal. You will be part of a team that currently consists of four engineers, with your primary responsibility for Vehicle Dynamics. You primarily collaborates internally with engineers, designers and technical specialists and externally with suppliers.
In this position you will work with FE structural analysis of chassis components and systems. Work together with design engineers to define the performance of the part. You will be an important part of defining the future systems and components to ensure fulfillment of strength and durability/fatigue requirements.
The role as Engineer CAE Vehicle Dynamics involves:
- Structural strength and fatigue life predictions
- Define and suggest changes of the components and systems based on your findings
- Perform structural optimization FE analysis as agreed with design engineers
- Methodology development of structural analysis
- Correlation of structural calculation methods, based on physical measurements
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Engineering M.Sc or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience within CAE area, Structural strength and durability, FE analysis and optimizations
- Preferable knowledge HyperWorks, ANSA, Meta, OptiStruct, Nastran, nCode designlife and HEEDS
- Driver license B
- English, both spoken and written.
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of vehicle structural strength and durability/fatigue
- Have excellent automotive industry knowledge
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
- Have good communication skills, create and maintaining relations
- Ability to plan, prioritize and work independently
