Tjänsten är ett vikariat på 50-100% och innebär undervisning i årskurs 1-9 beroende på din behörighet. Är du även behörig att undervisa i trä- och metallslöjd är detta meriterande.
We teach and assess most subjects in English but follow the Swedish curriculum and Swedish School law.
We have achieved a great deal together at our school and we are going to continue to develop. We are a team of educators that are dedicated to providing fun and meaningful education in a safe and calm environment. We challenge every student to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially. We work hard together to achieve the school's goals and we are looking for more team players to join us.

About the school and IES:
We opened our Jönköping school with 300 students in August 2009 and have been very fortunate to enjoy a lot of success. We have grown in size each year and we now have approximately 840 students in years 1-9, making this the largest compulsory school in Jönköping County. We have received a lot of positive attention in the newspapers, achieved a number of awards and built a very positive reputation for our professionalism. In 2012 we were one of the first 8 schools in Sweden who started running a special advanced education (Spetsutbildning) approved by Skolverket.
Internationella Engelska Skolan is a leading independent school group ("friskola"), reaching academic results far above average. It was founded in 1993 by Ms Barbara Bergström, a science teacher, originally from the US. In 2009, she received the award "Entrepreneur of the year in Sweden".
