Technology at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the telematics platform services, which means from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic business enhancing services and products.
We are now looking for an End-2-End Test Manager within Technology.
The role
The mission of the test manager is to lead, develop and drive the test strategy & plan within product changes and projects. There will typical be planning, follow-up and practical testing. You will work close to your colleagues in the E2E test team, the development teams at us as well as teams at Group Truck Technology, the Volvo brands and Group IT.
With the result from testing you will make sure that the right team(s) is/are addressed and also give input about priority and when a solution is needed.
For the changes that you are involved in you will create a test plan relevant for the change you are working with. This includes early phase testing up to user acceptance testing and also preparation of test equipment such as rigs and vehicles. This means also that you will need to plan with other commodities test managers to plan who are responsible for what from a test perspective.
Your profile
As a person, you are a team player with a positive mind-set and you know the various challenges of application development. A customer-oriented attitude is in your nature, you care about quality, allow yourself to be inspired, have a "can do" attitude and take pride in your work.
Your personality is your major reason for success, but we think you also have:
An university degree (engineering)
Experience from End2End testing or similar
Good understanding on total offering impact versus test results
Good domain knowledge of OEM connected service offering, telematics, transport industry and end-customer processes
Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
Experience from mobile (connected) applications is also a great advantage
Fluent in Swedish and English - both written and spoken
Knowledge in Jira / Confluence
Valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen
