Joining the product team and reporting to the Head of Product, you will craft innovative products and components. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and suppliers, your ideas will align with our product strategy and sustainability goals. Responsibilities include technical documentation, prototypes, CAD responsible, and travel to sometimes challenging areas. Better Shelter ensures security, insurance, and training support.
Qualifications and experience
Master's degree in mechanical engineering, design & product development, or related field
3+ years of relevant experience in product development, parts construction, and various production techniques
Skills in CAD (SolidWorks), Adobe Creative Suite, PDM systems, and MS Office
Strong written and spoken English
Your problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities are highly valued. Your dedication and practical skills will contribute to our mission. Familiarity with our vision and humanitarian principles is essential. Join us and make a difference!
About the employment
You will be employed directly by Better Shelter, and the job is full-time (100%). You will be covered by a collective agreement that includes provisions such as 30 days of vacation and additional health insurance. The position is on-site, and you will be offered flexible working hours and international travel, sometimes to exposed areas. The starting date is as soon as possible, according to an agreement.
