This is us, your new colleagues
You will be a part of the Group HR, Center of Expertise group who consist of 15 fantastic individuals. Most of us are located in Gothenburg but some joins us from Skövde, Köping and Umeå. Currently, we are 9 males and 6 females in the age from 30-51. The group is divided in 4 functions; Labour & Employer Relations, Health & Safety, Compensation & Benefits and Talent & Leadership. You will belong to the Talent team of 3 persons. Our group is friendly, open, dedicated, and serious. We are not a fan of prestige and own agendas. Some of us exercises and take walks together on lunch breaks. But that's not a must of course. We could be better at fika and celebrating our success; maybe you could inspire us to develop this further?
What we need you to do
Talent & Leadership main areas are employer branding, diversity & inclusion and internal mobility. Your role would mainly focus on two areas: responsible for communicate the Volvo Group's employer value proposition to our pin-pointed target groups, and be responsible for the programs and developing our presence towards pre-university students to get them interested in industry, technique and the Volvo Group. In detail this means to:*Based on the competence needs of the Group's different Truck Divisions, Business Areas and Group Functions, and program managers for the Group's various employer branding programs formulate and execute a communication strategy and plan for Volvo Group HR Sweden
• Maintain and develop the Groups' presence toward pre-university students
• Program Manager for long-term initiatives as "Tekniksprånget", Skolsteget and other events and initiatives
• Main contact person for our partly owned Technical College; Gothenburg Technical College (GTC)
• Work together with different stakeholders to improve the user journey for applicants and new employees
• Ask for help when needed and help your team members
• Lead, moderate and facilitate meetings, seminars, panel discussions etc.
• Represent Volvo Group internally and externally
• Have fun!
