Volvo Group is world leader in Electromobility. In summer 2016 we established a truly customer oriented team, working closely together to drive the development of new technology, new business models and new ways of working. The new Electromobility team is responsible to run the complete Electromobility sourcing and development work including demonstrator vehicles for several of the business areas within Volvo Group. Examples are Hybrid, Electric Hybrid and full Electric Bus, Hybrid Trucks and full Electric Trucks, Hybrid and full Electric Construction Equipment and Industrial & Marine applications.
About the role
There is now an opportunity for you to join the Electromobility unit and contribute in the development of our new products. As an Electromobility Product Owner - Charging Systems, you will be responsible to lead and drive the development of systems and components within your area of responsibility. Examples of components are Charging Station, OnBoard Charger and DC/DC Converter. In Electromobility, we are working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), where you will be responsible to lead the cross-functional SAFe team for Charging Systems. You will be working (in the team that consists of component engineers, verification engineers, buyers, etc) with the entire chain from early concept development to final verification in vehicle. You will be a member of the Electromobility Program Management team, which has the responsibility to define, break down and prioritize work for the full Electromobility Program.

Qualifications
• Master of Science within relevant field (e.g. in Electrical Engineering), or comparable work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with electrical components.
• Previous experience within Charging technology is considered a merit but not a requirement.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
