Electromobility systems at Volvo Construction Equipment is developing electrified solutions such as electrical motors, power electronics, energy storages, software and hardware control systems and complete driveline.
Who Are We?
Electromobility systems is an innovative cross functional multi-national team where you will have good opportunities for personal development. We are involved in different tasks like electrical system design, system analysis, system modelling and simulation, system and component specification, and software and control systems development.
We are currently in an expansion phase and are looking for electrical system developers, control system developers and SW developers.
We offer a wide variety of competence development and good possibilities for you to further grow and take on new challenging tasks.
What We Offer?
You will have the opportunity to work with the complete development cycle from design and implementation to testing in machine. You will also take part in testing in rigs, and in complete machines in close cooperation with our calibration and test engineers. The end application is construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators and articulated haulers. The work is based on close cooperation with complete machine developers.
You will get to focus on several exciting activities including designing of electrical systems with a broader approach and a general understanding of construction equipment and drivelines.
Who Are You?
You have a relevant education in Electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Software development or similar. You may have experience working on one or more of the following areas such as electromobility systems, automotive propulsion systems, mechatronic systems or embedded software systems.
You have the right growth mindset and attitude that will make a difference within our organization. You share our values of being customer-centric, having trust in our colleagues, driving change and dare to adapt quickly, and having passion for what we do.
Good to Have
You have great communication and collaboration skills in English.
You are a positive person and a great team player. You are flexible, and have good ability to plan, take own initiatives and work independently as well as in a team. You may like to work in an agile environment.
