We are now looking for a highly motivated and creative test engineer/data analyst to strengthen our battery testing team.
About
Our team, Battery pack and vehicle testing, is responsible for testing the energy storage on the scale from complete battery packs to full vehicle. We plan and execute tests and analyze results in order to ensure that the batteries fulfill the requirements connected to the performance and life targets. The tests include functional and performance tests as well as safety and abuse. The majority of the testing is performed in-house in our new state-of-the-art battery lab, in the climate wind-tunnel, on the test track and on summer- and winter expeditions.
Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical and data management skills. You have experience with, and enjoy working with the complete product, the vehicles. You understand the nature of experimental work and enjoy working with hardware with a strong understanding about the underlying physics that you are testing. The test vehicles are highly complex with a lot of built-in intelligence and diagnostics so a good understanding of embedded systems and in-vehicle communication is of merit. You like to take on large data sets and analyze the content and condense it to neat graphs that you happily share and discuss with your team members and stakeholders.
• MSc or PhD within vehicle, mechanical or electrical engineering or other relevant discipline
• Experience from advanced data analysis and data visualization is highly meriting, preferably in Matlab or Python
• Experience from vehicle testing and familiarity with CAN communication is highly meriting
• Experience in working with high voltage systems and/or electronics is meriting
• Experience in Metrology "the science of measurement" is meriting
• C/CE or D drivers license is meriting
• Good knowledge of English is a requirement, knowledge of Swedish and German is meriting
Your tasks
As a vehicle test engineer and data analyst in this team, the main tasks include writing test scripts, supporting the execution of the tests, analyzing test results and writing reports. Processing, analysis and quality assurance of data is an important part of the role. The role includes close cooperation within the team and with laboratory staff members as well as other test stakeholders. Together with your colleagues you have the possibility to influence the team's processes and deliveries.
