• Conducting extensive research with senior-level executives, predominantly through phone conversations and face-to-face meetings, and determining the commercial viability of prospective conferences based on research results
• Assessing industry trends to identify commercially viable conference topics
• Conducting interviews with senior level Data practitioners, and creating thrilling and insight based articles, white papers and news.
• Writing comprehensive market-driven outlines that become the guidelines for conferences that go to market
• Developing professional networks to generate topics and recruiting industry experts/speakers to address subjects in support of these commercial programs; negotiating speaker contract
• Serving as the project lead for assigned conferences; managing different members of cross-functional teams to ensure that conference objectives and deadlines are met or exceeded.
• Oversight of the P&L of assigned conferences
• Traveling to conferences to oversee the onsite management and execution
• Conducting on-site video interviews during conferences.
Hyperight.com - a Swedish media and event company in the area of technology, Data Management, and Analytics, is now in search of an Editorial Director responsible for identifying and researching leading edge, business-to-business issues to develop content for innovative event programs and online content, designed for Data Management and Analytics executives. This includes conducting extensive phone research, agenda writing, and development, recruiting high-level speakers, negotiating deals while project managing conference specific deadlines and goals. As a portion of the team managed by the new Editorial Director is based in Macedonia, it is expected of the candidates to have fluent written and spoken, both, English and Macedonian language.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience in Management, International Business and Emerging Markets
• 2-4 years' business experience in Conference Production or Digital Marketing
• Fluent written and spoken English and Macedonian language.
• Demonstrated analytical, research and commercialization skills along with experience working in a leadership position or as a project lead with cross-functional teams
• Strong project management skills
• Demonstrated skills in networking, building relationships and strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Demonstrated skills in phone and video interviewing.
• Advanced proficiency with social networking sites and the Internet
• Ability to work on multiple projects within tight production timeframes
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google docs, Mail Chimp and Google analytics
