The mission of the ECS Service team is to introduce new requirements as well as secure and improve the overall quality, efficiency and availability of the Epiroc Group Consolidation system ECS (SAP BPC), SAP BW, ICE and Salmon. The team is mainly based in Stockholm but have team members on global locations, and work tightly with the Group Financial Reporting and Control team of Epiroc.
Job description
The ECS system (SAP BPC) will be the key component for the legal and operational reporting of the Epiroc Group. As part of the legal reporting, Epiroc will, after the planned listening on the Stock Exchange in Q2 2018, be committed to sending out their data each quarter to the stock market. Failing to do so would have a major impact on the value of the stocks and thus the ECS system is to be considered the most critical system inside Epiroc Group.
A large part of the role is understanding the functional business requirements and translating them to functionality in the reporting software.
• You should be innovative in finding solutions that will best fit the business requirements as well as an efficient maintenance of the system.
• Strong Excel and VBA development skills as well as basic project management capabilities allow you to drive developments yourself or work together with specialized providers on complex developments.
• Your understanding of the architecture of the SAP BPC application, the complex technical setup and the best practices from ITIL allows you to come up with ways to improve the setup and make it easier to maintain for the Reporting Team and easier to use for the end users.
• You work closely with the rest of the team, spread across the three world region, and Group Financial Reporting & Control to move new developments into Production. The maintenance further relies on the documentation that you created.
• You understand the implications of the functional and technical changes on the closing process
The position report to the ECS Service Manager of Epiroc Group (the Application Manager Business). The ECS Service team will be a newly established team in the Epiroc Group, part of the department Group Financial Reporting and Control.
Experience requirements
• Experience in gathering requirements with functional as well as technical speaking partners, spread around the globe, synthesizing the inputs and translating them into detailed specifications.
• Strong planning skills to ensure realistic timelines and delivery.
• Experience in executing development projects.
• Required experience 2-3 years in similar position.
Knowledge
• You are fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
• Functional knowledge in consolidation tools (preferably SAP BPC on NetWeaver), familiarity with SAP products (R/3, BW, SAP HANA, EPM) and/or other OLAP/data warehouse solutions and Movex M3.
• Familiarity with ITIL.
• Experience from developing/maintaining financial consolidation/planning tools (SAP BPC, Cognos Controller or Hyperion).
• VBA and SAP BPC script logic development skills.
• Familiarity with SQL and MDX query language, ABAP knowledge is a welcome asset.
• Basic familiarity with ETL principles/solutions.
Educational requirements
• University degree in Finance and Business Administration (or equivalent through experience).

• Ability to conduct research, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
Company presentation
Atlas Copco's Board of Directors announced in January 2017 that it will initiate work in order to propose to the Annual General Meeting in 2018, to decide on a split of Atlas Copco into two parts. Atlas Copco will focus on industry and Epiroc will focus on mining, infrastructure and natural resources industries.
