hela Sverige Are you ready to move forward in your career? Join us as Drug Project Coordinator (DPC) and be part of a vibrant team in Global Portfolio and Project Management (GPPM), using your experience to expand into global project management!
At AstraZeneca, we're not afraid to do things differently. Our purpose is ambitious and so is our approach. Creating a more agile and inclusive environment means building an inspiring culture where we celebrate innovative thinking. We are curious, creative, and open to new ideas and ways of working. Above all, we are passionate about science and driven to always put patients first!
You will be based at our first-class site in Gothenburg, Sweden and surrounded with colleagues from all over the world. At GPPM everything revolves around Project Management. We operate in a cross functional and diverse environment to facilitate decision-making, project planning, execution and control.
What you 'll do
You will be a key member of the Global GPPM team, using your excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to enable Global Project Managers (GPM) and project teams to work optimally. As the DPC you are working across the early stage Global Project Teams (GPT), in a dynamic and vibrant cross functional environment.
Part of this role (around 25%) will be to support AstraZeneca's large external collaborations within IMI/IHI. This is an EU-wide health research and innovation ecosystem that facilitates the translation of scientific knowledge into tangible innovations. You will be responsible for monthly resource reporting, yearly financial reporting and general project management support of the AstraZeneca collaborations together with colleagues at the department.
You are the expert in project coordination and your accountabilities will include information and communication management, e.g. prepare monthly reports, agendas and participate in cross functional meetings. You will facilitate project planning and information flow by bringing in structure and using your organization skills. You will contribute to creating an environment where successful teams can meet ambitious business demands.
We rely on you to provide project coordination support to cross-functional project teams in close collaboration with the GPM, such as coordinate team meetings including logistics and minutes. You will build and maintain project team distribution lists and drive information management for project teams. The DPC supports and contributes to creating high performing project teams, facilitating cross-team collaborations. You will support the GPM in project management tasks such as project monthly reporting, communication management and budget control. This is a varied role where you'll have multiple and rapidly changing priorities requiring you to use your initiative and pro-actively resolve challenges. There are several possibilities to develop and grow in the role and assist in project management tasks such as project plan and budget control.
