As Regional Sales Manager, your objective is to develop and expand Dow Chemical’s position in the Nordic market. The role is multifaceted and includes both strategic and operational tasks. In the role you have the opportunity to organize and manage your own branch by having sales and personnel responsibility within your department. As Regional Sales Manager, you will be engaged in the overall strategies and objectives that the department has and implement our business strategy. You will seek, develop and implement new business opportunities with potential as well as maintain and develop existing business relationships. You are responsible to meet market and customer needs and drive business with profitable growth. Using your strategic mindset and strong sales drive, you will be able to attract new customers, gaining market share and having successful product launches. As Regional Sales Manager, you will be directly responsible for three Account Managers. The assignment also includes coaching and developing your personnel as well as support them in their roles. We believe it is important with a dynamic leadership.You will also work together with the Regional Commercial Organization in various market issues to develop and promote an attractive product portfolio.

Your work assignments
Actively work with and develop our marketing strategy
Responsible for your unit achieving budgetary targets
Actively work to identify and meet market needs and the needs of our customers by promoting and selling our solutions
Ensure effective and rapid growth in the region by customer- and market-oriented sales activities
Drive the new product sales of our clients
Build and develop your business relationships with our customers
Define and establish value creation objectives in line with our business strategy
Work closely with your team with a caring and positive leadership, where you will motivate, stimulate, develop and follow up activities
Ensure proper product handling, a compliance Dow's EH & S and our sales processes
Travelling days is estimated to be around 30-50%

Your background
Business Education and formal business training, Preferable MBA
Solid Technical background within chemistry or chemical engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience from the Chemical Industry in which you worked in a commercial role. You have been responsible for at least five larger and more complex strategic accounts
Fluent in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish and fluent in English (written and verbal)
