Are you the inspiring and communicative person with passion for Diversity and Inclusion we 've been looking for?

Become a part of transforming Europe 's leading Ferry Company
At Stena Line, we believe everything is connected. By bringing people and goods together, we enable businesses and societies to grow. As a company, we are on an exciting journey driven by technology and new digital habits, developing our business to create outcomes that matter to our customers.

Within Group People (HR) we are responsible for recruiting the best diverse talent and supporting their growth through learning programs, internal mobility, and leadership development. Going forward we will have Diversity and Inclusion at the centre of all of our programs and practices to ensure that Stena Line is a place where all people from all identities and backgrounds can thrive.

We want to be a leader in sustainability within our field and Diversity & Inclusion is at the centre of our sustainable people agenda. We should always be a company where you are encouraged to bring all of yourself to be the best of yourself to work every day in order to make us better. The journey starts with you!

What will you do?
As Diversity & Inclusion Specialist you will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to mainstream Diversity & Inclusion, providing expert advice and guidance. You will help design and deliver Diversity & Inclusion training to leaders and staff throughout our business. You will have to use your experience to pursue creative ways to promote Diversity & Inclusion, and find effective ways of tracking progress and evaluating success.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Design and implement a holistic, group-wide Diversity & Inclusion framework, in line with our Sustainability strategy that will integrate Diversity & Inclusion into the foundation of our systems/processes and culture.
- Challenge and inspire the present organisation with new ideas of ways of working by making sure we always have Diversity & Inclusion on top of the agenda.
- Partner with other stakeholders in the People Department (HR), group functions and business regions to build trust in the solutions and ecosystem to accelerate Stena Line's diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Act as a support for local HR organisations regarding all diversity and inclusion matters.
- Provide diversity, inclusion and diversity expertise and support across all business regions and group functions in close collaboration with Sustainability, People (HR) and Corporate Communications.
- Be an active advocate of diversity, inclusion and belonging for Stena Line internally and externally.
- Responsible for coordinating and leading our diversity council.

Who are you?
To be successful in this role you have knowledge of the current Diversity & Inclusion challenges in organisations and working environments, and in society as a whole. We encourage you to act as a source of change and are not afraid to conduct Diversity & Inclusion and anti-discrimination interventions when you identify where we need/must/can improve.

We think that you have:
- Experience from working in a similar role, ideally in a traditional sector or industry
- Knowledge and experience from developing and delivering inclusion projects within a complex environment to drive change
- Experience from designing diversity projects, always with a focus on outcomes to measure success
- Ideally you are well networked across the Diversity & Inclusion landscape, even better with a maritime focus
- Experience of conducting Diversity & Inclusion training and learning sessions
- University degree in communications, business, human resources or equivalent
