hela Sverige Are you a driven engineer with great interest in technology and committed to your personal development?Then we can offer you a challenging and stimulating position as Discipline Lead for Piping within a company that is characterized by forward thinking and expertise.Valmet in Gothenburg works with environmentally friendly heat and power boilers for technically demanding fuels as well as with recovery boilers and evaporation plants for the pulp and paper industry.As a Discipline Lead in piping you follow your projects from the beginning to the end within your discipline. You are strongly involved in our sales projects and follow the projects until completed installation and final documentation is delivered. As well as project related tasks, you develop way of working and quality within your discipline.Typically tasks you do in projects:Responsible for sales estimate of time and material regarding pipe disciplineWork out the best possible implementation solution for the project based on available manufacturers and suppliers of pipes and piping designBasic engineeringPackage work for possible detail engineeringLead and review detail engineeringQuality assured delivery by suppliers and on-site at our customers facilitiesValmet is a global company where the daily work consists of communication with many parts of the world. Some travel will be expected in position.Your profileTo succeed in the position as Discipline Lead, you need to have at least a technical college degree and five years' experience within the field. You should have several years of experience from a similar role, preferable connected to energy industry. The tools we mainly work with are MS Office, AutoCAD and PDMS (E3D). We expect you to have good experience within these - or other similar - software.Collaboration is important for us; and we believe that you enjoy it as well. We expect you to be used to manage your own tasks.
