The responsibilities of QCS comprises the Volvo, Nova and Prevost bus brands.In the mission of QCS, co-operations with bus plants, clusters and product development are key success factors.
We are now looking for a Director QCS - Strategy & Management System
Role Mission
In this position you are the deputy to the Senior Vice President (SVP) for Quality & Customer Satisfaction (QCS) and you lead the development of the quality strategy together with the SVP. You are responsible to plan the overall execution and follow up of the QCS agenda. You are a part of the global management team for QCS.
For specific Change Management activities you have the direct lead with the help of Strategic Change Leaders that reports to you.
It is your responsibility to maintain the Management System (BMS) and compliance auditing. The key resources to execute this task are in your team in Gothenburg and you have also to manage through a global network of colleagues in other sites.
In order to ensure quality control of the start cost projects you have the Global Project Auditor in your team.
The SVP QCS is Process Owner for the Delivery to Repurchase (DtR) Process and you are responsible to make sure that the process is developed through continuous improvement. For this purpose a Process Manager for the DtR process reports to you.
You are Security Coordinator for Volvo Buses and are responsible to secure that our company has a valid Crisis Management Plan for our headquarters and all relevant sites. You do regular follow up with the sites to ensure that we respond to Blue Audit remarks and that the Exemption Process is being followed and status is reported to Volvo Group Security.
Main Responsibilities
• Structure the QCS management agenda
• Administrate Organizational Development (OD) at QCS
• Maintain and develop the Management System for VBC
• Ensure ISO compliance through global auditing for VBC
• Ensure project compliance through project gate auditing for VBC
• Develop the VBC DtR process through continuous improvement
• Secure that BEC have a valid Crisis Management Plan
