Responsible for the service contract integrated profitability and support of preparation of cost calculations
Increase the service contract business and climb up in customer value ladder in all to meet Kalmar targets
Management and development of service contract offering portfolio including branding and strategic marketing
Build and manage a high performing team and take a leadership role for the development, motivation and promotion of talent
Development of tools and methodologies for more accurate, competitive contract costing and tools for contract execution
Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
Responsible for the strategy development of the business area in the management team
Central Sales support for service contracts
Offering development
Cost price calculations
Contract conditions, legal and commercial
Concept development and new solutions
Standards and templates development
Sharing best practices between different service contracts
Benchmarks
Sales Support and training for local sales teams
Active participation in customer negotiations
Risk analyses and collection of necessary background material
Coordination of other support resources during sales
Possible Contract start-up
Monitoring of profitability on bigger contracts

Kalmar Services Sales and Product Management is looking for a Director, Service Contracts who will manage Service Contracts department in the Service Sales and Product Management function and be responsible for the development of service contract business and profitability on a global level of Kalmar business.
You will be working closely with Kalmar Service Leadership Team, Service Sales Leadership Team, Market Area Leadership and Service Sales teams as well as Own team and customers.
The position will be located at a Kalmar office in Finland or Sweden according to further agreement.
What you'll need to succeed:
The ideal candidate would have strong business and market sense and deciding and initiating action mindset and positive attitude. They would also have good communication, leading, supervising, networking, planning and organising skills.
Ideally you have:
University Degree, commercial background
5+ years of experience in the industry, ideally maintenance of terminal equipment and terminal operations
Minimum 5+years of solid sales and management experience from a similar position
Experience from and demonstrated leadership in a global matrix team environment
Technical knowledge is essential, ideally maintenance of terminal equipment and terminal operations
Fluency in English
Adapting and responding to change mindset.
