We need to define, develop and implement sustainable, cross-functional transformations through change programs and initiatives - actively coordinating efforts and utilizing shared resources, with the aim to manage decided transformations with a clear connection to the Sandvik Coromant Strategy.
For a key role in getting Sandvik Coromant Production to the next level, and with the opportunity to influence and to be the driving force in our change process, we are now looking for a Director for PMO Production - someone who wants to add value by contributing with your business understanding and hands on experience.
In this position, you report to Vice President Production at Sandvik Coromant and are an active member of the management team for Sandvik Coromant Production. The location is flexible and international travel is a natural part of the job.
Your challenge
As Director PMO Production, you are the expert responsible for establishing the organization's approach to the full life cycle of programs launched within Sandvik Coromant Production: from initiation, validation, planning, resourcing, execution, monitoring and completion. You revitalize strategic initiatives and take ownership for performance program as well as digital transformation within Sandvik Coromant Production.
You act in close collaboration with Enterprise PMO to align Sandvik Coromant Production'sprograms and projects with the Sandvik Coromant Strategy, and ensure execution of the Strategy Plan and change initiatives by providing support, coordination and performance management of business transformations projects throughout all entities of Sandvik Coromant Production. You also ensure that we have the resources and capabilities needed for successful deliveries. Included in your mission is to establish and support the implementation of standard ways of working, performance management tools and techniques introduced across the programs, ensuring that risks and exceptions of deliverables are identified and appropriately addressed.
In order to manage an active network of change and transformation programs, you keep stakeholders updated and informed on the progress of change programs and business transformations. To generate commitment and synergies, you actively promote a culture characterized by open communication and knowledge transfer between all stakeholders.Working together with the PMO's from functions such as Sales, IT, Product Management and R&D, you contribute to a coordinated and collaborative setting that effectively utilizes resources and leverage the capabilities within Sandvik Coromant.
For this position, we are looking for someone with a management consultancy background and with several years' experience from working in an industrial setting, preferably in a line management position. You have deep understanding of production on a strategic level and are experienced in Lean and Supply Chain. You are also a strong business developer, preferably with experience from driving business transformation including digital transformation. To be successful in this position, you need to be highly skilled in performance management and the tools and methods used in this line of work. In addition, we see that you have an academic background relevant to this position, and as we act on a global scale, you have good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
