Our product is used by the most demanding software development teams for handling project management, team collaboration and quality assurance in large, complex, and sometimes distributed projects that typically are using agile and lean development methods.
Hansoft's head office is based right in the center of Uppsala, Sweden's fourth largest municipality. Perhaps best known for its large 15th century university, the city also offers beautiful surroundings, a lively cultural scene and a quickly expanding high technology business sector. Commuter distance to Stockholm city is 40 minutes and 20 minutes to main airport Arlanda. We also recently opened a sales office in central San Francisco as well as one in Tokyo.
Director, Organizational Efficiency
Main Responsibilities:
• Facilitate sprint planning, retrospective and sprint reviews.
• Assist the product owners with keeping the backlog groomed.
• Ensure cross-team coordination.
• Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal.
• Maintain relevant metrics that help the squads and tribes see how they are doing.
• Coach and mentor other scrum masters in our team. Ensure that our ways of working are consistent across the teams.
• Act as a "project manager" when necessary and take responsibility for managing dependencies between our squads and tribes.
• Coach different squads in running agile rituals like sprint planning, review and retrospective.
• Responsible for organizing Hansoft internal agile meetings, as well as removing impediments.
• Strengthen the presence of our team as an Agile centre of excellence.
• Actively contribute to the company's Agile and Lean Community. Keep the rest of the company network aware of our activities.
• Work closely with and be an important support to the squad and chapter leads in the company.
• Act as "Company Scrum Master" and orchestrate the "way-of-working" at Hansoft.
• Act as an Agile Coach and Scrum Master who looks after how the company runs agile practice in the whole organization
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in leading organizations in the phase of expansion and leading it forward. Ability to set and prioritize your own goals, while keeping in tune with your team members You have previously worked in a team practicing agile development and project management processes such as Scrum. You are a doer with a strong drive and an entrepreneurial mindset. You need to appreciate both the possibilities and challenges of a small but growing dynamic entrepreneurial company. You possess strong leadership skills and have a team-based mentality. Since you will be operating in a team oriented corporate environment, the ability to forge and grow relationships and collaborate with your team as well as other staff is critical. Extensive experience managing international teams.
