The position reports to Vice President Brand Relations Volvo Trucks and Volvo CE

We offer leasing, instalment financing, insurance solutions, rentals, repair and maintenance contracts, dealer financing and many other services, depending on the market. VFS EMEA has about 700 employees and we are present in 34 countries. We work closely with each Business Entity of the Volvo Group.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The role is responsible for leading the commercial activities that are not handled by the local markets; these are summarized into key account management for Volvo brands including selected direct customer contact, flagging out business and as well driving and steering of commercial projects, securing best practice leverage, specialized commercial support where required in the region.

The DCM" supports the EMEA Brand Relations function by developing, leading and coordinating activities and projects which promote and support the business of VFS EMEA. The DCM develops and maintains key relationships in the Volvo brand organizations with the main focus on Volvo Truck Europe.

The position is based in Gothenburg Sweden.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Key Account Management across Region EMEA for Volvo Bus, Volvo Truck and VCE including direct customer contact to selected Key Accounts and line of credits
Overall responsibility for flagging out process, coordination between markets, ensuring relevant pricing and alignment is achieved, with customer satisfaction as a key focus
Operational and tactical support towards the VP Brand Relations Volvo Trucks and Volvo CE EMEA
Supporting Regional Vice Presidents with commercial support, sharing of best practices and dedicated focus on campaign optimization
Facilitating and driving trainings and workshops across EMEA together with DCM RT to support commercial functions and securing best practice sharing related to selling techniques
Providing specialized commercial support to markets where required in the region/markets
Build and maintain productive relationships with colleagues internally in VFS and across Volvo group brand commercial functions
Responsible for driving and steering commercial project work across a broad range of commercial topics with support and inclusion of Marketing Business Managers and Brand Management Coordinator
Provides insight and analysis into existing and potential customers' requirements and drives initiatives to meet them
Support the development and execution of our online presence and strategy with the objective to optimize the customer experience
Support EMEA based Volvo Trucks exhibitions in conjunction with VFS Global Brand and the brand marketing teams
The role requires a tight cooperation with the VFS EMEA Business Development Team, providing critical commercial input into new product development to ensure market intelligence is represented appropriately

Educational Qualifications and experience
University degree or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 10 years' Financial Services related industry experience - preferable from Captive Finance
Preferable brand and project management experience
Strong knowledge and experience in transportation and construction equipment industries is required
Previous experience working in an international environment
