www.aak.comAarhusKarlshamn (AAK) is currently looking for a Director Financial Control and Tax. The role is broad and will serve as a challenge and opportunity on an international area. The position is located at the headquarters in Malmö. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be part of the Corporate Finance team. For the right candidate and if the interest is there, there could be a possibility of working in one of AAK's subsidiaries/business areas after some years.
Key responsibilities include:
Group Accounting
• Overall ownership of Financial Reporting
• Group consolidation
• Responsible for AAK Financial Manual and other policy documents
• Be the "IFRS accounting expert" in AAK - a practical expert:..
• Interim reports/Annual reports
• Monthly reports to the AAK Board
• Prepare financial presentations to the Executive Committee, the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors
• Present at the audit committee meetings
• Responsible for our hedge accounting documentation
• Integrate acquired entities to the financial reporting
• System owner of the Group reporting system
• Drive and participate in Group projects within the financial control area
Tax
• Responsible for tax in the AAK Group
• o Income tax o Transfer pricing o VAT o Duty
• Be the contact person in questions regarding Swedish and International taxation issues
• Maintain and develop Group transfer pricing policy
• Tax optimization
• Identify and mitigate tax risks
• Manage and coordinate tax audits
Auditors
• Liaise with external auditors regarding hard close audit and year- end audit.
• Liaise with external auditors regarding internal audits
Parent Company
• Responsible for the parent company accounts
Treasury back office
• Responsible for treasury back office o Secure efficient administration o Secure segregation of duties
The team will be three persons including you as manager.
Candidate profile
We expect you to hold a MSc in Business Administration or similar towards accounting. You have at least 10 years relevant work experience, preferably in an international environment from a multinational group or from one of the leading audit firms. You are proficient in English both oral and written. Fluent Swedish is a requirement. We also believe you have a good ability to work with ERP and Group reporting systems, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
To be successful in this position you need to be a self-motivated individual with a proven interest in business. You have a strong drive as well as being a structured individual. Further you are ambitious and have a proactive and dynamic personality, powerful self drive and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment. We expect you to be a solid communicator, able to build relationships, both within and outside the organization.
