hela Sverige As Director for GTO Communications you will be part of the global GTO Corporate Communication team. You will assume the responsibility to manage (short term) and further develop (long term):
The communication business partner (CBP) role towards Service Market Logistics (SML) within GTO
To take the lead in one of the focus pillars of the GTO Communications long term target image.
Actively support the GTO Communications Department in its day-today-cross functional operations, projects, events and activities.
You will report to the SVP Communications, Group Trucks Operations. You will be based in Gothenburg,Sweden.
Critical competencies for the position
As GTO Director Communications you are able to demonstrate a clear vision, global mindset, business understanding and successful in people development and culture leadership.
You have a clear understanding of business issues and are able to use strategic communication to achieve business objectives. You demonstrate a strong capacity in building networks and are able to influence others to make things happen.
You have strong written and oral communication skills and are comfortable using all modern and digital media-tools. You are able to explore best practices, translate and deliver the same and in practical terms write a journalistic text, produce a power point presentation, make an interview for video etc. You can apply the storytelling principles when designing and produce the GTO communication material of leading an event, a broadcast or a web-meeting.
You hold a university degree or a MBA and are able to demonstrate successful international and multi-cultural business experience. As Director Communications you need to have documented experience in communications and senior management.
Demonstrating a high and solid level in each of the Volvo Group Leadership competencies for the leading business level, you will be an inspiring and inclusive leader as well as an active team worker.
You have willingness and ability to travel as needed and as all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required. Other language skills are merited.
