We are looking for a motivated and experienced colleague, to fill the challenging position as Digital ASIC Validation Engineer. In this role you will be a member of the team receiving the first samples, validating that the ASIC works according to the specifications. Your tasks will include all steps from specification and planning of sample verification, measurements and debug to final report. Furthermore, you will be involved in complex debugging and verification, dependant on needs and requests from our HW and SW departments and our customers.
This role is challenging and you need to have a deep interest and knowledge in the above mentioned area as well as experience. You will cooperate with different groups in the organization with various needs where the response time to them can be vital for their success. Due to the high complexity of the ASIC you must have good analytical and structured skills.
It is an advantage if you also have experience from test board builds and verification.
Education and experience
At least 5 years experience in electronics engineering
Experience in test and verification of electronic design
Knowledge in C and assembler
Knowledge in signal integrity and simulations
Knowledge in ASIC systems, embedded systems, CPU cores, memories and other
interfaces
Knowledge in power measurements
Co-ordination skills
A service minded and positive attitude is essential to be successful in this position
Communication skill in English is fundamental
