you, who like to work globally, create and develop new and existing processes targeting new products, as well as improving existing processes to meet environmental, safety, quality and cost requirements. Working at Höganäs the processes are focused on, but not limited to, reduction of metal compounds and annealing of metal powders.
Your job also includes working with product development and the transition of products and processes, from development to full implementation in the production.
As a Development engineer you are working with maintaining and developing unique competences in line with company goals. You are to participate, lead and manage projects/activities, both globally and with external partners.

We are looking for you
with a Master of Science in Mechanical, Chemistry or Process design. It is preferred that you have work experience within process industry, powder metallurgy, heat treatment equipment, combustion, heat transfer, thermodynamics or metallurgy, but for the right candidate we are ready to accept a newly graduated. Swedish and English, both written and spoken is necessary.
Developing processes involves activities from calculation, plan, implement and evaluate experiments to documentation of activities. About the position
The position is located at Höganäs AB in Höganäs in Sweden. Global Technology, where you will work, brings together our core competence in process and equipment. The department supports the various facilities in the world from pre-study to project implementation or production startup.
Some of your main tasks will be to initiate, lead, manage and participate in projects globally and with external partners. You secure and communicate knowledge and competence in reports, best practice groups and initiate, lead and drive development of unique, cost effective, safe, sustainable processes for new and existing products.
Pontus Hydén, Head of Reduction & Annealing in Global Technology, will be your manager in this newly appointed position. You communicate with both global and local employees as well as with equipment suppliers, raw material suppliers, producers of similar products and international universities and institutes. To travel 20 days per year is normal for this position.
The headquarters, where you will be located, is located in beautiful Kullabygden and is next to both the sea and the Kullaberg nature reserve, which gives you the opportunity for having an active free time. Larger cities like Copenhagen, Malmö and Helsingborg, with all that they have to offer, are only a short bus or train ride away.
