hela Sverige As a Senior Design Engineer you will be responsible for developing the most cost effective and safe solutions for site-cast concrete structures and this will be achieved in close cooperation with the customer. You work in AutoCAD and in order to achieve safe solutions, you also have a responsibility to verify the design by static calculations and documentations. You have great experience of infrastructure projects and you work independently.
• Develop formwork, shoring or scaffolding solutions for various civil project
• Perform static calculations and analyses to ensure optimal designs
• Produce engineering documents including design layout drawings, steel fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, calculation sheets, material lists
• Interact with PERI's technical representatives, customers and other design professionals in order to provide the most cost-effective design solutions
• Provide on-site support when required
• 5 years of experience in formwork design, structural engineering, and drafting with AutoCAD
• A degree in Civil Engineering, certification from a Civil Technologist program, or practical industry experience
• Understanding of Europeen Building Standards and Codes
• Great organizational skills and drive
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Great English skills are required
• The ability to learn quickly and to work well independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• PERI product knowledge (an asset)
