About the role
In this position we offer you the chance to become a part of the Business Logistics team as a Demand Planner. Our role is to manage and optimize the Business Logistics within the region according to the business requirements. Business Logistics is a function within the Sales and Marketing organization for Professional Hygiene, Region North. You will have a key role in the Business Logistics organization to translate commercial needs into accurate demand plans towards production organizations in order to fulfil our customer needs.
The position is based in one of Region North's office locations in Gothenburg, Espoo, Alleröd, Vilnius or Oslo. You will report to the Regional Demand Manager.
What you will do
• Generate accurate base and promotional demand plans at multiple levels of aggregation for the sales organizations
• Analyze and report data to deliver accurate demand plans, perform systematic gap analysis to understand the main drivers for deviations between forecasts and actual orders to ensure efficient supply chain execution supporting the delivery of key business targets.
• Secure communication and coordination with Customer Service, Marketing and the Sales organizations to gain an understanding of market/customer ordering behavior.
• act as an interface to Product Supply, customers and service providers.
• Lead/take part in local S&OP process and demand reviews together with Commercial teams according to the agreed S&OP guidelines
• Secure excellent data handling by regular data updates and cleaning
• Drive and secure an excellent Phase in / Phase out process to avoid leftovers and service level issues
• Identify and contribute to the continuous improvement opportunities in relation to demand planning processes, systems, and tools.
Who you are
The person we are looking for has the ability to see the overall picture as well as handling the details. We expect you to be a self-directed person. You have capability to work and communicate efficiently in teams with different cultures and environments. You also need to be very good at both decision making and priority setting as the job requires you to handle many different tasks at the same time. In short, you need to have a well-structured and organized way of working.
We are currently in the start of transferring to a new business system. For this you need to have an open mindset, be curious to change and curious to learn about new ways of working.
• University degree in Business administration or similar
• Preferably 2-3 years' work experience from Demand planning function
• Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented approach towards challenges
• Self-going and proactive
• Result driven
• Development oriented mindset and problem-solving skill
• Previous experience of SAP or similar ERP system is an advantage
• Fluent English and at least one of the regional languages, both written and verbal.
• Customer and Consumer focus
• Ability to use Excel as a tool for decision making in a various complex analysis
