Job Description
As part of the Demand & Supply team, you contribute to optimally serving regional demand and enabling profitable sales growth across markets by driving and providing input to regional store buying process.
You provide top-down input to regional demand planning, based on a supply perspective.
You run rolling follow-ups of stock level forecast and buying with all stake holders, within the region and with the Business Units / Assortment teams.
You set the way of working for buying methods in region and bring regional findings to global supply chain agenda and set stock management strategies, e.g. SALE and rolling stock management actions, in line with buying strategies together with Regional Merchandising Managers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive regional store buying process for the region
Develop top-down view on regional demand plan from a supply perspective, ensuring defined selling. (net+gross), stock and reduction cost targets in alignment with Regional commercial strategy, financial plan, BU direction and capital tied up targets.
Run analyses of customer group/concept growth potential to identify Regional opportunities and recommend Regional strategy in collaboration with Regional Merchandise Managers.
Secure commercial content together with Regional Merchandise Managers.
Provide rolling updates on forecast and deviation from current plan of region/market demand & inventory levels to proactively identify needed actions (short, mid & long term) on buying, bulk sourcing and stock management.
Communicate updated forecasts with Regional Merchandise Managers, BUs and Regional Inventory Optimization Manager.
Responsible for defining ways of working (Market Optimization).
Omni sync and strategy development with E-com counterpart.
Stock management and SALE
Develop regional exit strategies and take actions for unwanted inventory to maximize selling and profitability.
Support Regional Merchandise Managers with business case and technical analysis (e.g. sales at different price points) to enable best possible commercial decisions on detail and total.
Rolling collaboration with Regional Inventory Optimization Manager and Regional Merchandise Managers to understand current challenges and stock management needs.
Forecast, budget and FuP of reduction costs with the Head of Demand and Supply and Regional Head of Merch.
Omni synch and strategy development with E-com counterpart.
Drive omni strategy development, and drive and roll out supply chain initiatives
You are, together with E-com counterpart, accountable for omni strategies and targets and driving total omni strategy development.
Constantly explore and implement how to improve the field of buying and stock management in region - bring successful examples to the global supply chain support team.
Be a part of developing the global supply chain agenda and initiatives as a business expert.
Roll out way of working of new initiatives in region, in collaboration with global support team.
Qualifications
2 years minimum experience of working within assortment
Analytical experience
A degree in economics, Business or analytics is preferred
