Digital Delivery is a new function within Group Digital & IT. It has the ambition to identify and execute on new digital initiatives in tight collaboration with TD/BAs and Group Functions as well as modernize and transform our existing solutions into products and to secure agile ways of working across the whole Digital Delivery function.

Together with our digital talents, we will work on solution design and deliveries to improve business performance and create value at scale for Volvo Group. Included in our mission is to drive an efficient Group IT interface and Portfolio Management for the TD/BAs and Group Functions.

This is how you could make an impact

In this role you will have the responsibility of managing the delivery of the Volvo Truck solution Order Manager (OM The delivery team is located in Bangalore and is currently balancing delivery of functionality to support the rollout of important projects and technical modernization. The solution is in the middle of the transformation from legacy, monolith to an architecture aligned with NorthStar. The coming year the focus is to finalize the technical re-write and balance this with deliveries to projects as well as a stable runtime environment for our end users. To your support you have a Product Owner and two scrum teams of knowledgeable resources.

You will work closely with the product owner to set the vision and strategy of your delivery. Moreover, you will support the team to deliver value as much as you can and together with the other delivery managers drive the transformation of the Product Sales Quote to Order domain.

In your role, you are adding value by developing high performing teams and building great collaboration with the stakeholders in your deliveries. In addition, you are driving the change management necessary to reach the transformation goals. This role does not include any Line Management responsibility and you will report to the Head of Product Sales Quote to Order.

Your mission if you accept it:
Managing the IT solution design and delivery
Support the strategic initiatives in terms of team capacity and knowledge.
Support Product owner in building /consolidating solid relationships with main stakeholders within the user community (Volvo Group TD/BA), vendors and partners
Support the roadmap update and implementation for Truck sales in the area.
Securing product quality aligned with compliance, budget and SLA in line with Volvo Group Business Critical application area
Accelerating the DevSecOps journey and continuously improving speed and agility
Drive continuous improvements in way of working towards a fully agile approach
Support PO to synchronize with other products/solutions
Focusing on continuous improvement on the exiting delivery and driving for the best user experience
Encouraging the team to embrace modern technologies, finding ways to utilize them for the best of the solution and Volvo Group.


Who are you?

To be successful in this role we believe you need to have
Strong delivery focus and customer mindset
Experience working in an agile set up, preferably with understanding in scaled agile setupt (SAFe)
Understanding of solution delivery frameworks
Leadership experience, preferably in the Sales to order domain (any other domain will be an asset as well)
Excellence at stakeholder management and great communication skills
Experience in driving initiatives and prioritizing various activities
Ability to create team's engagement around shared visions and objectives

Experience in working in a global and cross-functional environment
