At fast-growing Captario, we are looking for a talented quantitative modeler to our Analytics team. Joining us, you will be part of a dynamic organization with a mission to fundamentally impact decision making in the pharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for supporting and improving the quality of customer modelling efforts. Equipped with advanced analytics skills, you build and share deep insights about risk and value in pharmaceutical projects. You will report directly to the Head of product management.

Responsibilities:

• Predictive modelling and simulation: Develop state-of-the-art predictive project models to customers and internal stakeholder specifications.Perform simulations to generate informative decision support.

• Method development: Develop new methods and models for decision support and analysis.

• Data visualization: Create, support and maintain dashboards and other visualizations using various techniques.

• Software development management: Collaborate with our development team to design and implement new functionality into our modelling software.

• User training: Support our customer engagement efforts with the training of new users.

Requirements:

• Sc. in a quantitative or scientific discipline, for instance, mathematics, statistics, computer science or engineering.

• At least two years of experience working with quantitative modelling.

• Familiarity with various programming languages (e.g. Perl, Python, R) and methods for data analysis (e.g. data mining, machine learning).

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with 3-5 projects ongoing continuously.

• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is highly desired, but not a formal requirement.
