We are searching for a motivated self-starter to join our Data Science Team. For the right candidate, the position will provide the opportunity to research and develop best-of-breed solution supporting our B2B Sportsbook operations. You will join a team based in central Stockholm and will report to the Head of Data Science. You will be working as an agile software engineer and quantitative researcher in a Linux environment, to build and refine Kambi's Business Intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company's data to deliver business solutions
• Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis
• Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends
• Communicate results and ideas to stakeholders

Skills and experience:

• An academic degree in quantitative discipline (computer science, mathematics, physics, etc.)
• Previous experience in a similar role applying statistical, machine learning, or algorithmic solutions to business problems
• Advanced knowledge of SQL
• Experience with distributed data/computing tools: map reduce, Hadoop, Hive, and Spark
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python) to manipulate data and draw insights from large and complex data sets
• Fluency in English is essential

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate to both business and technical minded colleagues
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize own time

The position is located in Stockholm, and will involve some travel to our London office.
