hela Sverige Being a data scientist at Stena Line you will code, maintain and understand the product and its users. You will mostly be working on creating models for optimizing revenue, investigating how to best utilize data and bring recommendations for improvement to the rest of the organization.
You will work in a very competent team of full stack developers, UX designers and other data scientists towards a vision of making trade management processes easier, smarter and more profitable. We work in close collaboration with the business side to deliver products that really drive the business forward and has a great impact on the company's total revenue.

Qualifications:
• Phd or similar experience in optimization algorithms for logistics and transport.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing algorithms in Python, using libraries such as matplotlob, scikit and pandas.
• Great at visualizing and communicating technical results.
• Ambitious and curious, with a great passion for learning.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Extensive experience of Operations research and mathematical modelling.
• Extensive experience of Revenue management and optimization methodologies.
