IKEA Core Business Supply is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.
Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units in Core Business Supply and we are on an exciting transformation journey! By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development and innovation agenda into one organization, embedding management and development of processes and digital solutions into the business, we will meet the future with the right competences and business capabilities. We are now looking for a Data & Technology Manager to help us reach our goals!
Job Description

You will be responsible to ensure efficient and effective data and technology operations in the core business and enable a network led approach where the full Inter IKEA approach as well as the core businesses needs and demands are considered and visible in the capability area roadmaps. By doing this you will enable faster and more cost-efficient development in the core business and on the same time contribute to the capability development for Inter IKEA group in the areas of: Data management, Data analytics, Digital product management, Service management & operations, Information security & data privacy, Platform management, Intelligent Automation, Architecture and AI lab.
You will lead the data & technology team, consisting of more than 150 talented coworkers and managers, securing competent high performing teams and leaders who inspire coworkers to reach their full potential.
As Data & Technology manager you also secure operations and development of a big part of Supply's digital stack. In the D&T field you are responsible for selected digital products and platforms. You have a chance to influence the D&T foundation, IKEA's business transformation and building the future data & tech landscape.
As part of the Supply Chain Development Management team, you contribute to the bigger agenda with our new ways of working (agile mindset, product & platform approach) and be a strong enabler for our capability areas and the wider needs along the end-to-end goods flow process.
Qualifications

You are a strong leader, uniting various teams and interests. You are a strong role model in a multi-stakeholder environment, where the bigger IKEA picture is in the forefront. At the same time, you are a business minded person with a passion for data & technology in Supply Chain! You bring in ideas from outside of your organisation and drive standardization for a more efficient operations (standardize and automate). You dare to think differently, and you have an agile approach to make sure that we adapt as we go. You are interested in finding new ways of working and are highly motivated to do this by leading our business agenda through empowering people, collaborations, relations and networks.
As a person, you have a strong passion to guide the organisation into the future, having a strong drive to transform how we operate IKEA. You have leadership skills to lead business and people in a global assignment by empowering and inspiring your management team members. You have excellent capability to create strong collaboration and interaction with a big number of various stakeholders in various parts of IKEA and externally benchmark to reach excellence in operation and contribute to putting "IKEAs supply chain as good example in the schoolbooks of tomorrow".
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
Deep knowledge and understanding of senior leadership and management, preferably gained in IKEA Supply Chain or a similar organisation - you have been developing, inspiring, leading, coaching and influencing other leaders, co-workers and specialists.
A strong interest to lead development of IKEA through Data & Technology
High interest in technology, digitalization and finding new ways of working
Sound technical knowledge and understanding of how to leverage data and technology to create impact based on strategic needs
Deep knowledge and understanding of the IKEA processes and organizations.
Proven capability to be a great communicator and by this build trust and relationships to handle collaboration with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, in a global environment.
Proven track record in developing and implementing IT development initiatives in large-scale complex organizations.
A passion for Supply Chain and a strong knowledge and understanding of logistic processes, organizations, and supply chain setups.
A desire to do things differently and challenge current ways of working and the ability to move with speed and direction
Fluency in English
