Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Critical Environment Technician, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities
The Data Center QA/Document controller will be the main point of contact on site in relation to Critical Environment Operational documentation including the creation, reviewing, management and archiving.
As a successful QA Document Controller Technician, your success is measured by the following responsibilities:
Administer the creation and update of all site procedures for the DC as per our Runbook guidelines.
Schedule periodic reviews of all current procedures along current SLA guidelines and liaise with responsible staff to ensure timely completion.
Driving compliance through producing regular reports.
Certify templates, classification and document details conform to site standards.
Manage the master procedure matrix on SharePoint for all site operating procedures for the DC ensuring matrix is maintained to site requirements.
Lead our local electronic execution system- maintaining, creating, formatting, configuring, testing, and publishing documents.
Responding to CE tech support tickets on the JIRA system.
Maintaining the electronic execution devices.
Stay informed on runbook register by means of coordinating weekly meetings to notify the CE team of any updates/creation of procedures/processes that could impact operations.
Performs routine audits and quality checks on all CE Ops related documentation.
Support a growth mindset by implementing efficient, effective processes whilst always looking at best practice and new technologies to improve day-to-day CE operations.
Streamlining and alignment of documents across campus.
Archiving champion for the campus ensuring all documentation is archived as per Microsoft's retention policy procedure - this includes site procedures, permits, method statements, risk assessments, vendor reports, in house CE maintenance and break fix work orders.

Qualifications
For this role, you are welcome to apply if you meet the following Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Operational documentation experience including the creation, reviewing, management and archiving in mechanical, manufacturing, automotive, electrical, controls, data center, or related fields
OR equivalent experience.
Ability to arrive independently and work 100% from the Data Center site in Gavle area.
While not required, we also look for the following Preferred skills:
Organized, able to effectively prioritize and deliver within a dynamic and high pressure, business critical environments
Self-motivated, proactive with ability to work on own initiative,
Must have high attention to detail, accurate with good organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel an advantage
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
