Who are we, and what can we offer?
The Volvo Trucks, Quality department is a team consisting of dedicated professionals, and we are located in Gothenburg. We collaborate closely together and in these times of interesting challenges, we want to explore how we can contribute even more to the business. We want to develop how we use the warranty claim data and expand to also use other data sources, beyond our suit of tools used today.
Our aim is to serve our customers even better, and we want to earlier identify the issues they can experience, which cause breakdowns, unplanned stops and downtime for them. We want to level up the power of our data and improve the performance within the Quality and Warranty process. Also, as an effect of this, we aim to create smarter campaign selections.
In this role, you will analyze alternative analysis tools together with our stakeholders. You will be the quality key user in Volvo Trucks, supporting and coaching colleagues in your field of expertise. You will maintain and develop our current analysis environment and be part of creating the Volvo Trucks quality and warranty analytics strategy. In this role, you will work with data mainly from our QRAFT data warehouse to create insights and identify business opportunities as well as supporting headquarter, sales areas and markets with various analyses and reports to improve performance within the Quality area.
Main responsibilities
• Maintain current, and develop and implement new, Quality reports
• Use data from different data sources such as e.g. VDA, GDS, VSR, LDA and UCHP QRAFT to perform analyses and respond to requests of various complexity
• Drive state of the art quality analysis - by analyzing breakdown and repair data
• Develop and find new analytical methods, including machine learning and statistical approaches
• Support our users and contribute with training and training material within our area
• Be responsible and build a strategy for a more flexible data model for Volvo Trucks that supports quality analytics solutions for Volvo Trucks
• Develop dashboards and tools to simplify day to day work for the campaign process
• Take an active part of the day to day work and support the customer quality managers, safety investigators and campaign coordinators in their daily business with data
• Be an active member and contribute to the team's agenda
You will also work in connection with Volvo Trucks Digital & IT, GTT and Volvo group IT.
• Specify CR business requirements on IS/IT tools and solutions within our area
• Support IT during the CR process and with solving QRAFT related issues
• Contribute and support in Warranty related IT projects
Qualifications
• Self-driven and motivation to improve and develop yourself and the area you work in
• Experience from and strong competence in data visualization
• Excellent listener with a true interest to understand and find ways to fulfill business need
• Experience from analytics, warranty and/or aftermarket area
• Customer oriented with social, communicative and pedagogical skill
• Truck product knowledge
• High level of cooperation, ability to work independently as a part of a team
• Analytic, structured and accurate
• Volvo system and process knowledge
• Strong proficiency in documentation
• Good at prioritizing and focus and ability to meet agreed deadlines
• Curious and genuine interest in Analytics
• Statistical methods knowledge
• Excellent in English, both verbal and written
• Technical university degree or equivalent knowledge based on experience
