Our Customer Services department, responsible for the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) towards our end-customers and partners, is looking to strengthen the group. As a Customer Services Engineer at the TAC you will provide professional technical support to customers with qualified responses and follow ups. Products supported are both hardware (HW) and software (SW).
Brief description of the work tasks:
• Answer and work with received tickets via the Online system or phone
• Be responsible for trouble-shooting and make sure repairs are performed
• Spare-part management
• Prepare and participate in customer meetings to present reports according to customer contracts
• Designated Engineers are more familiar with specific key-customers including their networks and tickets
• Work with other parts of Transmode?s organization for problem solving
• Every 6th week, 24/7 hrs on-call duty for customers
• Occasional traveling
We?re looking for someone:
• with Network Engineering knowledge (LAN/WAN, IP)
• with computer experience (preferably Linux or Unix)
• with experience of database management
• who is fluent in English, spoken and written. Other languages like French, Spanish and German are beneficial.
We also see positively on experience with or knowledge of SDH/Sonet, DWDM, traffic protocols (Ethernet, OTN, FC). Drivers license is mandatory.
As applicant, you have either recently passed your examination or you have work a few years with customer support and/or above mentioned technical areas. We look for a service-minded and meticulous person. You drive things, seek information, take own initiatives and also like to share your own learning within the group.
