EF Cultural Care Au Pair is looking for a Country Product Manager to lead the Nordic team out of the Stockholm office. We are looking for an ambitious, organized and results-driven professional who will manage a change in ways of working and drive future growth. As a Country Product Manager you manage the department like a small business and are involved in all facets of its success, including strategy development, sales and marketing, goal setting, staff management, budgeting, collateral production, etc. The role will report to a Sales Director who is based in Switzerland.

The role

As a Country Product Manager you will lead the current Nordic team and will be challenged to reach inspiring targets in the coming years. This is a true hands-on management opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual with skills in sales, business development, marketing and staff management.

Joining a highly sales focused organization you should love customer contact and direct sales in all its forms. You should be comfortable doing all aspects of the job: direct sales, screening candidates, hiring and training office and field staff, visiting schools/universities, managing a budget, leading your team on a day to day basis, and making sure that everyone reach their targets and develops professionally.

This is a management position with 10 direct reports and the ideal candidate should be proactive and able to multitask from day one. The team is based in our beautiful office in central Stockholm together with the teams of EF Education First.

Professional Qualifications and Skills
• University graduate or MBA. A marketing or business degree is preferable but not necessary
• 3-5 years of working experience
• Swedish native speaker and high proficiency in English
• Experience from managing up to 5-7 full time staff
• Experience in managing a budget
• Proven capability with direct sales and customer service
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Social media and/or database management experience
• Preference for a sales and marketing background

Key responsibilities
• Manage change in ways of working to a sales focused team
• Develop and grow the market by implementing a strategy for growth
• Develop marketing plans and implement marketing and public relations strategy
• Hire, manage and motivate staff and local representatives around the country
• Develop and foster relationships within our global organization
• Provide guidance, professional development and support to the team
• Manage budget and work independently within the budget guidelines
• Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction
