Aurobay is looking for a Cost Engineer who is early in the career or with some cost engineering experience, to be a part of our Procurement Team and develop in the role. As a Cost Engineer you will be a key member of a global team with the mission to develop and maintain a world-class supplier base. Ensuring the supply of materials and services - at the right cost, quality, and technology - is essential for the success of Aurobay.

What will you do?
As a Cost Engineer you work independently and in teams. The teams are involved in medium to heavy investments where fact-based negotiation is the foundation. You will collaborate with buyers, engineers, and business partners. Estimating Cost Calculations using software such as TcPCM is done with both an engineering, manufacturing, and business mind-set. We believe you have some experience working as cost engineer or similar, fact-based product breakdown that we can develop further. You will analyze actual hardware, technical and commercial prerequisites to understand what requirements are driving cost. You will be an important center of competence coaching the buyers to enable successful negotiations. You don't have to fit all the boxes, your passion for procurement and development is more important. Basic knowledge in tool manufacturing, assembly, automation, and lean manufacturing is a merit.
