This new position represents a fantastic opportunity for the right person to take the lead role on Corporate Communications for a very successful and fast growing international group listed on the NASDAQ OMX in Stockholm.
Publiceringsdatum2014-05-27Dina arbetsuppgifterThis job will entail working closely with the Group's CFO and CEO, as well as the Group Financial Controller. It is a new full-time role that represents an important position within a small central team and offers an outstanding opportunity for a focused individual to gain a valuable insight into the Group Corporate functions within a successful, growing business. You will be based at the Group's satellite head-office in Linköping, taking day-to-day direction from the Group Financial Controller. The strategic direction for the role will be provided by the CFO and CEO, who are based in the group's main UK head-office. In addition, this person will also have frequently contact with external consultants and service providers linked to the issuance of Interim and Annual Reports, management of investor relations, the upkeep of the Group's external and internal web-sites and assisting with the external audit process. Part of this role will also include responsibility for certain book-keeping activities associated with the Swedish parent company.
Your principal responsibilities as Corporate Communication Manager will include:
• Develop a Corporate Communications strategy and annual plan with the Group's CFO and CEO and help them deliver it.
• Distribute press releases, including quarterly Interim and Annual reports, to the capital market and all other relevant communication channels, including the Group's external web site.
• Organise quarterly analyst briefings for Interim reports, investor seminars, ad hoc investor road shows and Capital Markets days, all of which are usually based in Stockholm.
• Arrange the Group's Annual General Meeting (AGM).
• Central role in the preparation of the Group's Interim and Annual Reports which are published externally in accordance with stock exchange rules.
• Screening service for both the Group's CFO and CEO.
• Maintain all company information provided on the Group's external and internal web sites.
• Maintain a contacts database for all analyst and investors, including key information on the meetings held.
• Provide internal assistance in preparing official responses to external queries, where appropriate. Act as a primary point of contact to handle external queries received from shareholders, media, sales people, shareholders' association, general public, etc.
• Process transactions and maintain the general ledger for the Swedish parent holding company (and any other Swedish dormant entities), including the monthly submission onto the Group's financial reporting system for all of these companies.
• Provide central support for ad hoc requests from the Group's CFO and CEO.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Possessing excellent written and oral communications skills, you will ideally already have listed company experience as a member of a Corporate Communications team for a large international company, and/or from an agency, with a track record of achieving results across both external and internal communications.
Key competencies required for the role include:
• Pro-active with strong organisational skills and a proven ability to achieve deadlines.
• Team-player, customer-service driven and people orientated, preferably with experience of working in cross-border teams.
• Flexible, positive attitude with an enthusiastic approach to work.
• Supremely organised and able to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into to all elements of corporate communications, including the administrative aspects.
• Excellent command of English and Swedish languages.
• Basic book-keeping knowledge and financial accounting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of windows based applications like word, power-point, excel etc.
